The competition involved designing the new School of Arts in Vienna's Am Hof square. The shape of site helped to choose a hypogeum construction to preserve the function of square. Idea borns to design a square in the square, where the wide staircase is dominated the entrance that made up of pure concrete volumes joined by glass walls surmounted by a black metal roof. Under the square it develops a wide space composed library, laboratories and classrooms. Serving spaces are areas where studying and relaxing instead spaces served are expo in itinere areas.Internal illumination it is favored by an internal courtyard. Last level, it is big expo area where huge walls divide the space creating free paths, meeting rooms and auditorium.
